The standard finish is raw with no painting or coating. We highly recommend a powder coated finish for long term durability and protection against corrosion.
These laser cut and CNC formed sheet metal pieces fill the gap left by the mounting rail to make the whole IFS transparent to onlookers. This is the finishing touch to make the installed system look as one with the underside of the vehicle.
The IFS comes standard with manual steering...which can be difficult to turn in tight parking or load speed driving situations. The power steering option includes: new power rack & pinion, new GM type II power steering pump, integrated reservoir, custom powder-coated bracket, pulley, hard lines with correct fittings, braided stainless high pressure line with AN fittings assembled, silicone low pressure return line with clamps, all necessary hardware, and machined spacers
The standard IFS does not include a front sway bar. Adding the sway bar will help reduce body roll, improve high speed cornering capability and overall stability.
Wilwood brakes are required with this IFS system and requires 15" diameter or larger wheels. This Wilwood front disc brake kit includes 12" standard or drilled and slotted rotors, 6-piston calipers (red or black), aluminum master cylinder, proportioning valve, and braided stainless D.O.T. approved brake hose
This Wilwood rear disc brake kit converts your drum brakes to rear disc brakes. It is NOT required to use the IFS suspension system but will match your front Wilwood kit (which is required when using the IFS system). It requires 15" diameter or larger wheels. This Wilwood rear disc brake kit includes an integrated parking brake, 12" standard or drilled and slotted rotors, 4-piston calipers (red or black), parking brake cable, and braided stainless D.O.T. approved brake hose.
